SustainHealth is seeking a Theatre ANUM to join a Private Hospital in Sydney, Located in Western Sydney ( Bella Vista )

The Deputy Theatre Manager plays a crucial role in coordinating the perioperative service and is a crucial position within the surgical services. This position offers advanced nursing leadership in the proactive management and coordination of clinical practice and the provision of human, financial, and material resources in accordance with organisational goals

The Role:

Well Established Private Hospital
277 beds and is a high acuity facility with a high-performing Emergency Department located in Bella Vista, Western Sydney
Permanent full-time position available
Management of the instrument and circulating nurses' workforce
Direct management of Floor Coordinators, Specialized Nurses
Theatre list scheduling and management
Managing quality projects, and managing key performance indicators
Deputize for the Perioperative Services Manager in the development and review of policies.
16 theatres, 32 first-stage recovery bays as well as 32 second stage recliners within the day surgery center
Specialities include, General, Colorectal, Bariatric, Orthopaedic, Cardiothoracic, ENT, Plastics, Paediatric, Oral & Dental Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Ophthalmic, Gastroenterology, Neurosurgery, Urology and Vascular surgery

The Benefits:

You will be paid under the Nursing award, Pay rate of up to $65.00 per hour + Superannuation
A relocation package may be negotiated

About You:

You will hold full registration with AHPRA with no restrictions
Desired 3 years at a middle management level within the perioperative services environment
5 years experience in Perioperative Services Desired
Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team
Postgraduate certificate qualification in the perioperative specialty
