See job description for details Experienced Security GRC Analyst required for a 6 month contract. Your new company With a large number of projects in 2022, an exciting contract opportunity for an experienced Security GRC Analyst has become available working remotely for a client based in regional NSW. Your new role In this role you will be responsible for reviewing, identifying Gaps, planning and assisting in implementing policies, procedure, standards and controls to govern the protection of information assets. Further more you will be required to • Perform and maintain a compliance register for regular reviews of security policies, procedures and standards • Assist in developing and implementing security best practices and standards • Assess incidents, vulnerabilities, patching status, penetration test results, phishing and social engineering tests • Assist in developing and delivery of cyber awareness programs • Develop and keep up-to-date cyber risk register • Articulate identified risks to the business stakeholders for applicable treatments, mitigation and sign off. What you'll need to succeed • Extensive experience in Information Security Governance, Risk and Compliance • Understanding and familiarity with information system standards and frameworks such as NIST or ISO. • Bachelor s Degree, ideally in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems Management or equivalent work experience in the field of Information Security. • Possess current security certifications or in the process of obtaining within the next three months. • Strong documentation and communications skills.
