Systems Administrator

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client is looking to add a Systems Administrator to their Infrastructure Applications team in Tucson, AZ.

Overview:
This role entails overseeing the architecture, design, planning, testing, implementation, and administration of our client's information technology, infrastructure, and security applications. The Engineer will collaborate within a team environment, delivering cost-effective IT infrastructure services to various business units while ensuring optimal reliability and cohesiveness. Reporting to the Infrastructure Applications Supervisor, this position requires a seasoned professional, not suited for entry-level candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
* Systems Administrator will perform general troubleshooting for both server and client computers
* Administer and maintain Active Directory, including troubleshooting replication issues, LDAP authentication, and DNS/WINS administration
* Troubleshoot remote access (RDP), including RDP for remote administration and terminal services
* As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing projects and collaborating with project team members, stakeholders, and users to maintain consistent project implementation

REQUIREMENTS:
* Proficient in PowerShell scripting with at least two years of experience
* Familiarity with alerting platforms
* Knowledge of Windows-based server operating systems, encompassing Server 2008 R2 and 2012 R2
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including documentation
* Understand server-based applications and their dependencies
* Familiarity with Exchange
* Knowledge of common network protocols, basics of switching and routing
* Proficient in enterprise ticketing systems
* Expertise in Microsoft Office applications
* Skills: Windows, VMware, MS, PowerShell, Scripting, VDI, VMware Horizon, Vsphere, Windows Server, 2008R2, 2012R2, Server 2016, LDAP, RightFax, SolarWinds, Active Directory, Exchange, SCCM, Win 7, Win 10, Splunk, VPN, mobility, Cisco, System administrator, Systems engineering

Non-Technical Skills:
* Project management proficiency
* Experience with regulatory requirements (NERC CIP, SOX, PCI, and/or HIPPA)
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Strong communication skills
* Detail-oriented with a keen attention to detail

Desired Qualifications (not required):
* Previous experience in an enterprise environment
* Familiarity with enterprise Infrastructure Applications, such as batch scheduling software, Cisco ACS, RSA, Splunk, VMware Horizon Virtual Desktop, TripWire, Skype for Business (previously Lync), and SharePoint 2010

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
