Job Description

Key Responsibilities : -Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for our key initiatives.

  • Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
  • Formulate business strategy among team and design policies that align with the overall strategy.-Develop and coach supply chain professionals;

drive organizational and individual development, engagement, and collaboration. Accountable for execution of SOP to drive alignment between key stakeholders around product supply, demand, and logistics cost.

  • Build and maintain effective cross functional relationships with business leaders, procurement and inventory management, finance, operations, merchandising team, regulatory, and other key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate procurement and inventory management, production and logistics, ensuring operational excellence that translates into customer retention.
  • Evaluate risk and lead quality assurance efforts.-Uphold organization policies and standards, ensuring legislative regulations are followed.
  • Oversee the implementation of technology solutions throughout the organization.-Mentor and motivate teams towards the mission, vision and values of the company.
  • Lead teams with integrity and establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment-Develops appropriate supply chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost.
  • Leads the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Directs and coordinates supply chain functions through strategy, resource optimization, profitability maximization, and KPIs resulting in the maximization of customer satisfaction.
  • Plans, manages, and coordinates all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand.
  • Works with plant, warehouse, and logistics departments to determine and set up intercompany transfers.-Works directly with the sales department to determine the most cost-effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation to customers.
  • Responsible for 3rd party logistics warehouse and shipping activities-Monitors and corrects inventory levels at outside warehouses (3PL) and internally to ensure rotation and maximize working capital.
  • Works with transportation companies to set the best route and rate (reviews and approves all freight terms and agreements).
  • Collaborates with the procurement department to determine best practice for freight in and freight consolidation.-Member of the operations staff, responsible to routinely report on department KPIs along with appropriate analysis and countermeasures where necessary.

Requirements : -Proven experience as Logistics and Supply Chain Manager, Head of Operations, Operations Director or similar leadership role.

  • BSc / BA in Business Administration, Computer Science or other related fields.-Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including supply chain management, production, logistics, finance, customer service, and employee management.
  • Proven ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity.-Ability to streamline and implement new structures and roles that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands.
  • Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, demonstrated by previous professional success.-Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics using business management software (e.

g., SAP, ERP, CRM).-Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges-Experience with budget and business plan development.

  • Outstanding communication and people skills.-Ability to conduct detailed procedures in a time constrained environment-Good written and verbal communication skills-Strong sense of time organization and urgency-Able to work independently and within a team
