About The Job Opportunity Direct-Hire | Permanent role The Data Scientist is responsible in examining diverse customer data to detect security issues, conducting proof of concept (POC) exercises, and formulating end-to-end solutions using machine learning or other data processing automation methods within the AWS/Azure environment. Responsibilities
  • Scrutinize diverse customer data sets to uncover potential security weaknesses and vulnerabilities.
  • Plan, execute, and document POC activities to validate the effectiveness of security solutions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Design comprehensive end-to-end security solutions, integrating machine learning and data processing automation methods.
  • Utilize cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure to implement and manage security solutions effectively.
  • Collaborate with incident response teams to address security incidents and breaches swiftly.
  • Ensure that security solutions align with relevant industry standards and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and assist in developing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of security analyses, POC results, and solution designs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and IT professionals, to implement and maintain security measures.
  • Stay updated on emerging security threats, tools, and technologies, and apply this knowledge to enhance security strategies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., cybersecurity, computer science)
  • Proficiency in data analysis, machine learning, and data processing automation techniques
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS and Azure
  • Experience in conducting POCs and designing security solutions
  • Familiarity with security compliance standards and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
