Job Summary:-
The Buyer is assigned commodity management responsibility for specific parts, services, commodities and critical process supplies. The Buyer is responsible for maintaining commercial supplier relationships, negotiating price, managing delivery and support resolution of quality issue, establishing material master data accuracy, providing inventory planning and purchasing activities associated with these items in full compliance with company, EHS, and Legal requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
· Manage commoities in area of consumables/ MRO / Spare Parts / assigned projects.
· Issue Purchase Order and follow-up with delivery.
· Sourcing / Negotiate with suppliers for price & delivery.
· Work closely with internal & external stakeholders to expedite and complete the assigned tasks on-time.
· Ensure compliance to Company Procurement Strategy & Policies
· Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
· Degree / Diploma holder with relevant qualifications.
· Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
· A team player with good communication skills
· Knowledge of commonly use business software (SAP, Ms Office).
· Negotiation skills, contract management, & basic knowledge in shipping terms.
· Good attitue and willing to learn.
