Category Manager

About the Role

The Category Manager will oversee the overall performance of the category assigned to him/her. He/she will supervise the creation and implementation of campaigns to improve the performance of the accounts under his/her management

In this role, you are expected to:

• Oversee day to day category team performance and motivation – ensure proper integration and development with best practice outputs
• Govern Account relationships – deliver shared business objectives thru collaboration
• Supervise campaign planning to execution – setting of commercial objectives, resource planning and campaign performance monitoring
• Establish forecast cycles for campaign and BAU replenishments
• Manage inventory & order to cash process (Inventory and AR Health) – ensure compliance to key performance indicators
• Conduct e-joint business planning and reviews with accounts
• Provide e-commerce category analysis and insights
• Organize cross-functional or test and learn projects

• Degree in any Business-related courses
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in eCommerce and/or FMCG
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive and solutions-oriented personality
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet critical deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel
• Strong drive to learn and achieve results
• Experience in managing teams is a plus
