**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive government sales strategy that aligns with our business goals and targets key government agencies and departments.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of government sales opportunities, leveraging existing relationships and developing new ones through targeted outreach and networking.
- Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and execution
- Understand the needs and requirements of government customers, and effectively communicate how our products/services meet those needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure that we are delivering products and services that meet the needs of government customers.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in government regulations and policies that may impact our business
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities,including contracts and proposals.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the government procurement landscape.
- Engage with government stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges, and position our products and services as solutions to these issues.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in government sales, preferably in the technology or software industry
- Excellent knowledge of government procurement protocols and channels
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and technical concepts to government stakeholders and decision-makers
