Job Summary:

• We are seeking a skilled Data Modeler to design, build, and maintain logical and physical data models to support our data-driven initiatives. The Data Modeler will collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and developers to understand data requirements and implement data models that enhance decision-making processes across the organization. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of data management best practices and is proficient in modern data modelling tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop data models: Create logical and physical data models that represent business processes and support analytics, reporting, and operational systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and development teams to understand requirements, analyze data sources, and design appropriate data structures.
• Data mapping and integration: Map data from various sources into cohesive and optimized data models, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
• Maintain data models: Regularly update data models based on evolving business needs, ensuring they are optimized for performance and scalability.
• Data governance: Implement and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices across the organization.
• Database design: Support database administrators and developers in creating and maintaining efficient database structures that align with the data models.
• Documentation: Produce detailed data dictionaries, entity-relationship diagrams (ERDs), and other technical documentation for data models and processes.
• Performance tuning: Identify and resolve data modeling issues that impact performance, including optimizing SQL queries and database configurations.
• Data quality: Ensure that the data is accurate, complete, and compliant with business and regulatory requirements.
• Compliance: Work with legal and regulatory teams to ensure data models meet compliance requirements, such as GDPR, CCPA, and industry-specific standards.
