AWS Cloud engineer

Responsibilities:

10+ exp Needed

• Build, automate, and support Cloud Data Platform solutions for Data Lake, Data Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and Data Mesh architectures.
• Utilize AWS services (e.g., S3, IAM, KMS, EC2, Glue, Redshift, RDS, Lake Formation, Lambda) to create robust and scalable solutions.
• Implement industry best practices for data security using AWS IAM in multi-account environments.
• Leverage automation tools (Terraform, Jenkins, dbt, GitHub) to manage and enhance EDM platforms.
• Utilize containerization technologies (Docker, Helm, Kubernetes) where appropriate.
• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Write and maintain scripts and automation tools using Python.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions and ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor cloud resources, identify issues, and implement solutions to enhance system reliability and performance.
• Skilled in Python, Go, Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools and implementing pipelines
• Proficient communication skills with an ability to present to both technical and non-technical team members

• You are intellectually curious and love learning new skills and capabilities, e.g. new Cloud services
