Google Chronicle SOAR Consultant.(W2 Preferrable)

Job Title: Google Chronicle SOAR Consultant.

End Client: E&Y.

Location: Remote (Som travel required to Sacramento, CA)

Duration: 6 Months.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the deployment, configuration, and management of Google Chronicle SOAR within the client's security infrastructure.
• Design and optimize playbooks to automate incident response and streamline security operations within Google Chronicle SOAR.
• Develop strategies for security automation, orchestration, and response to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the security posture.
• Collaborate with other security teams to integrate SOAR solutions with existing security tools such as SIEM, EDR, and threat intelligence platforms.
• Utilize scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) and API integrations to extend SOAR functionalities and automate complex security workflows.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with Google Chronicle SOAR in deploying, configuring, and managing the platform.
• Strong understanding of security automation, incident response, and orchestration processes.
• Proven track record of successfully integrating SOAR solutions with other security tools and platforms.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) and extensive experience with API integrations for automating security workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team on complex projects.

They need a minimum of 1-3 years of experience deploying, configuring, and managing Google Chronicle SOAR, including building and optimizing playbooks for automated incident response. The JD is spot on with what they're after. Position is mostly remote with travel to Sacramento, CA at most once a month/once a quarter. 40 hours/week. Candidates are expected to work PST hours. Contract will start ASAP and run through April 2025 (6 month contract)
