Job Title : Solace Engineer

Contract: 12+ months contract.

Top 3 requirements:

8+ years infrastructure engineer with 3+ years as a lead

8+ years working with middleware vendor messaging technologies- MQ Series Messaging and others

4+ years of Solace Messaging experience

Seeking an experienced engineer to bridge the gap between the principal engineer's knowledge and junior engineers. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic and forward-thinking engineering mindset, while also addressing present operational needs. This role requires a solid background in solace and messaging, with the ability to translate complex tasks into understandable processes for junior engineers and future team members. Responsibilities include setting up appliances, working with network, firewall, and VPN teams, and establishing bridges between heritage and new data centers. The candidate must document and create repeatable processes, ensuring smooth handover to the operations team. This position involves hands-on technical work, particularly as they move to new data centers, setting up firewalls, VPNs, and bridges from the ground up.
