JOB SUMMARY:
CFSB is seeking an experienced Data and Analytics Engineer who will be responsible for setting the strategic vision for short and long-term process and deliverable enhancements in conjunction with the leadership team. They will continually deliver on objectives by working with business leads at CFSB and clients, and applying continued learnings into actionable recommendations for departmental growth. Additionally, they serve as a lead data management contact for a roster of clients and offer consultative support to internal and external stakeholders.

JOB SUMMARY:
CFSB is seeking an experienced Data and Analytics Engineer who will be responsible for setting the strategic vision for short and long-term process and deliverable enhancements in conjunction with the leadership team. They will continually deliver on objectives by working with business leads at CFSB and clients, and applying continued learnings into actionable recommendations for departmental growth. Additionally, they serve as a lead data management contact for a roster of clients and offer consultative support to internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain well structured, performant, high quality data pipelines
- Define and develop data quality tests
- Develop and maintain process and data documentation
- Monitor and triage the data pipeline processes
- Collaborate across business and technical teams with a focus on building data solutions that will stand the test of time vs narrow point solutions
- Apply a software development approach to data engineering problems (including testing, documentation, modularity and dry-ness, CI/CD workflow, etc…)
- Develop and maintain impactful data visualizations and reports for the bank’s stakeholders as well as business partners
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Working knowledge of SQL Databases
- Good in ITIL Basic Knowledge (Incident/Problem/Change/Release Management
- Ability to work on-site via a hybrid work schedule
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or Information Systems preferred
- Minimum 4 years of data engineering experience
- Experience with SQL scripting
- Experience with the Python programming language
- Familiarity with relational database concepts and practices
- Experience with relational database modeling
- Experience with modern software development practices
- Experience with Data Visualization tools (Looker, Mode, Sigma, Thoughtspot, etc…)
- Experience in the Finance Industry is a plus
